Trading after market hours
After Market Order allows you to place an order for a stock beyond market hours.
For example, let us suppose that after the close of regular trading hours, there is news announced about a company which induces people to invest in the company. You wish to be amongst the first to invest and not lose out on this opportunity. In such a case, you can immediately place an AMO order for the following trading day.
Here’s how AMO works-
You can place an After Market Order (AMO) in equity (NSE and BSE) and derivatives (NSE) for the next trading day.
You can place Limit or Market Order.
All accumulated orders will be sent to the stock exchange when market opens.
Order executed is based on margin availability while pushing order to exchange.
Online: From 5.30 pm IST onwards upto 9.12 am IST next trading day
Call and Trade: Daily from 8.30 am IST onwards up to 9.12 am IST
*Due to scheduled system maintenance process, AMO orders will not be accepted between 12.00 am (midnight) to 7.00 am.
AMO enables you to place orders without having to wait for the market to open.
Trade as and when you come to know that prices may fluctuate.
Our operational timing: 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
