PVR shines on inaugurating multiplex at ‘Diamond Plaza Mall’ in Kolkata – Equity Market News
PVR is currently trading at Rs. 444.00, up by 9.30 points or 2.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 434.70 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 442.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 444.00 and Rs. 431.05 respectively.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 470.00 on 16-Sep-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 179.35 on 20-Sep-2012.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 470.00 and Rs. 412.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,762.00 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 31.04% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.16% and 35.81% respectively.
PVR has opened another Multiplex at ‘Diamond Plaza Mall’ Jassore Road, Kolkata, in the State of West Bengal. PVR’s five Screen Multiplex has become operational from September 18, 2013 and is fitted with latest Sound and Projection System.
With the opening of this Multiplex at Kolkata, the total screens count has gone up to 263 screens and the combined number of screens increased to 398 including 135 screens with Cinemax India at 92 locations across 36 cities in 13 states and 1 Union Territory.
The opening of this prestigious Cinema is a part of PVR’s organic growth strategy of pan India expansion and increasing its presence in major cities.
